“How was your day?”
Never just tell anybody “It was good.” Because, what’s truly the definition of that when we don’t even know what happened but just the simple meaning of “nice; kind; fine; righteousness”. Am I right?
Always give in to people’s answers and go more in depth to it. Not gonna lie, I’m guilty for this. Sometimes I just don’t want to tell people things about my day, just because I simply feel there’s too much to really say, or basically there really was nothing good that went on. I told my boyfriend about this and he was like “This is why whenever you say just ‘good’ i’m like ‘thats it?’” LOL!
This was another valuable lesson from my child development professor. You never know what’s truly going in somebody’s life if you don’t interrogate about it. You lose your loved ones if you don’t know how to interact with them. If you ask someone about their day, ask them more questions. What was good/bad about their day. What they liked/disliked best about it. Keep the relationship with people alive! :)
